Actress Rashmika Mandanna’s yet another deepfake video has gone viral on social media leaving her fans agitated. Around 6 months after she expressed displeasure about her face getting morphed to that of an influencer wearing skimpy clothes and demanding action against the one who made the video, another video is going viral. She has yet again become a victim of the AI-generated technology where her face is morphed with a content creator who is having the time of her life at a waterfall.
As reported by the Free Press Journal, Columbian model and content creator Daniela Villareal took to Instagram in April 2024, to share a video of herself at a waterfall. Dressed in a beautiful strapless red bikini, she poses for the camera while enjoying the scenic view. Around a week ago, the same video with the model’s face replaced with Rashmika’s face surfaced on the internet. Netizens were quick to figure out that it was a fake video and lashed out at the social media handle for sharing the video. It is to be noted that the Animal actress is yet to react to the viral video. Reacting to her old viral AI-generated video, the28-year-old had taken to her official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle to express her displeasure. A part of her tweet read, “Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me, but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused. Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am thankful for my family, friends and well wishers who are my protection and support system. On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Triptii Dimri. She is currently gearing for the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, where she will be reprising her role of Srivalli in the Allu Arjun starrer. She has Salman Khan starrer Sikandar in her pipeline. Set for a release on Eid 2025, the movie is directed by AR Murugadoss.
